DESCRIPTION:   This position provides administrative support in the area of Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) for the Infectious Disease and Environmental Health Administration (IDEHA), Office of Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Outbreak Response (IDEOR).  The incumbent will support Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity funded HAIs activities which include the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA), and two Emerging Infections Program funded projects. This position will track and report on project expenditures, accomplishments of objectives, and grant-required monitoring of outcomes.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
EDUCATION:  Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
 
EXPERIENCE: Two (II) years experience in administrative staff or professional work.
 
NOTES

1. Additional experience in administrative staff or professional work may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

2. Additional graduate level education at an accredited college or university may be substituted at the rate of 30 semester credit hours on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
