State of Maryland employees and retirees, enrolled in the MetLife Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance plan, were recently mailed a letter announcing an enhancement to the Travel Assistance program - a value added benefit currently included in the AD&D plan.
The Identity Theft Solutions service is now part of the Travel Assistance program which is offered at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you. Instructions on how to use this voluntary service is included in the brochure which you may link to below.

News from Aetna – Posted 7/21/09
The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s Adult and Pediatric Bone Marrow/Stem Cell transplant program will be added to the Institutes of ExcellenceTM Transplant Network effective 7/15/09. Previously to this contract, the facility was a non-participating provider for Transplant IOE.
The Institutes of Excellence transplant network is Aetna’s participating network for transplants and transplant-related services. Hospitals that have exhibited successful clinical outcomes, met quality of care standards, and agreed to acceptable transplant contractual terms have been selected by Aetna to participate in the Institutes of Excellence transplant network.
