The Employee Benefits Division continues to enhance the high-quality, competitive employee benefit product offerings and services which enable the State to attract and retain the finest workforce.  This section illustrates the benefits of working for the State of Maryland and emphasizes how health benefits play an important part of the total compensation that comes with State employment. 

The State offers a variety of health plans as well as certain pre-tax benefits to over 250,000 active employees, retirees and eligible dependents.  This section contains up-to-date information regarding those plans as well as administrative policies that affect your coverage.
