TITLE: COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSE I
SALARY: $37,837 - $60,222 (Grade 15) (Effective July 1)
CLOSING DATE: Open and Continuous
DESCRIPTION: A Community Health Nurse I is the intermediate level of direct nursing care to patients in various community settings and local health department clinics. Employees in this classification do not supervise other nursing staff but may supervise support staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Determined by the Maryland State Board of Nursing under the licensing requirements for Registered Nurse.
EXPERIENCE: None.
LICENSE: Candidates for positions in this classification must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse from the Maryland State Board of Nursing, 4201 Patterson Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21215. A copy of current license MUST accompany application.
NOTES:
1. Persons appointed in this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance to Executive Order 01.01.1989.05 and the Code of Maryland Regulations 06.01.09 "Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs".
