Dental coverage provided by United Concordia, is available to all individuals who are eligible for State health benefits. You have two dental plans from which to choose:
Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO) plan
Certificate of Insurance
Dental Preferred Provider Organization (DPPO) plan
Certificate of Insurance
The Smile for Health® Maternity Dental Benefit provides pregnant women with an additional cleaning during the course of pregnancy, regardless of whether they have met the cleaning limitation. This benefit helps control periodontal disease, which has been linked to premature births and low birth weight babies and also helps address a common condition known as pregnancy gingivitis. This benefit is considered “preventive” under the DHMO and DPPO plans.
